Welcome to our community!

The Movement Research Community (MRC) is a group of people curious about the body, how it moves, feels, remembers and thrives.

What the MRC is all about

The Movement Research Community (MRC) is a group of people curious about the body, how it moves, feels, remembers and thrives.

We’re dedicated to the cross pollination of disciplines, moving away hierarchical based teachings (think guru) towards a non-hierarchical rhizomatic philosophy.

Our intention is to create a diverse library of video content, a body of knowledge, transferrable across disciplines and accessible to all levels of movers.

The MRI is a unique gathering of diverse practitioners and teachers who are willing to question and adapt.  Frey Faust embodies a rare depth of understanding and investigation into the architecture and biomechanics of the body and how it applies to movement and life.  I came away  changed from his teaching, re-evaluating choices I’m making and with a new repertoire of movement practices to explore.
